Jazz Sax to lead Taste of Cabbagetown Tour

Jazz Saxophonist Jim Heineman a local mainstay will provide some tasty tunes for the upcoming Taste of Cabbagetown Tour Sat. July 26th 2-4pm. He will lead the tour with BIA Executive Director David Blackmore. The sold out event will hopefully be the first of many that profile our food establishments while expounding on our colorful history.


Taste of Cabbagetown Sold Out

Taste of Cabbagetown Tour Saturday July 26th, 2014, 2 - 4pm is officially sold out. Congratulations to Cabbagetown's tastiest establishments for participating in this inaugural event co hosted by Yellow Pages. Our neighborhood is steeped in history with lots of local character and will be a highlight of the Taste Your Neighborhood Tours which will feature 15 neighborhoods.


Cabbagetown BIA in Action

As a result of BIA's persistence, new signs and removal of parking spot on Winchester at Broadcast Lane will help vehicles get in out of lane-way and create an area for loading in front of businesses. Thanks to Gerry Gold for spearheading this initiative.

The Source, Store Manager Troy Turner puts the finishing touches on the new store before it's grand opening Friday July 18th.

Located at 435 Parliament St. the Source looks forward to being a part of the Cabbagetown business community and especially participating in the Cabbagetown Festival.
