A wonderful opportunity for you and your family to experience our beautiful neighbourhood and enjoy our exciting Parliament Street party.

It's Free for Everyone
Explore the arts and crafts in nearby Riverdale Park, hunt for hidden bargains at hundreds of garage sales, take a guided tour and then top it all off in the stores and restaurants along Parliament Street.

Leave your car at home and take the TTC
Parliament Street is closed from Wellesley to Gerrard on Saturday, September 9.  The neighbourhood is full of people and it’s a delightful place to walk and explore. The TTC bus service is running regularly from the Castle Frank subway station

Licensed patios, bbq delights, artists, vendors, buskers, and bargains along Parliament Street in Old Cabbagetown.  (Noon to 11:00 pm)

8:15am Blair's Run
Carlton and Parliament

8:15am ­ Registration and breakfast.
9:15 am ­ Run starts.

2K mini-marathon in support of the Cabbagetown Youth Centre. Start the festival with a jog around Cabbagetown before the parade.

Prizes awarded to all category winners. $10 entry fee, includes breakfast and a t-shirt (for the first 200 runners).

New this year – the York Lions Steel Band, the Toronto Signals marching drum band and the Queen’s Own Rifles regimental brass band.  Also featuring the ever-popular ROTC, the Top Hat Marching Orchestra, the Sandhill Pipers and the Church Street Pipe Band.

8 to 10 bouts, male and female boxers from across Ontario compete for the Cabbagetown Championships.  Cover $10, free for children under 10 accompanied by adult.
